A father stigmatizes father’s relationship

In Jhalawar, Rajasthan a father tarnished the relation of father and daughter. In an embarrassing incident, father of the seven-year-old girl was accused of raping her minor daughter for three to four times in a week.

Minor used to attend Anganwadi of her locality but suddenly stopped attending for a couple of days. Her regular absence excited Anganwadi worker to inquire. She went to her home and got the shocking news. She came to know that her father used to rape her repeatedly over a week.

The Anganwadi worker informed the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). The minor was later admitted to a local hospital.

Yesterday evening accused father, a laborer was arrested by the police personnel. According to police, he has been booked for rape and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
