Another case of Love Jihad filed by a father, daughter says she is happy with her husband

Love – Jihad getting bigger and more controversial day by day. After Akhila – Hadiya case which was presented with the angle of Love- Jihad, whereas Hadiya herself told the court that I am happy and I want to live with my husband as it was not forceful marriage, I accept Islam and my husband.

In yet another case of alleged ‘love jihad’, parents of a Hindu girl Anusha Hegde filed a complaint stating that their daughter is ‘missing’. Her father Arvind Hegde lodged a second complaint in which he states that his daughter was forced into the inter-religious wedding last year with javed Khan.

Hegde also alleged that Anusha came to home in Shivamogga in December after being harassed by her husband Javed Khan.

Anusha Hegde get married to Javed Khan while pursuing engineering at a college in Mysuru.

Abhinav Khare, Superintendent of Police said that the parents of the woman had lodged a similar complaint with the police in Mysuru a year ago and the mother had said that the marriage took place on her consent, according to The Hindu.

However, he also added that the police would inquire into the fresh complaint. A case has been registered in the Jayanagar police station.

Meanwhile, Anusha said that she married Javed on her own will and there is no compulsion. She also said that she was with her husband in Mysuru and there was no tussle between them.
