Democracy Of Our Country Is In Danger: justice j chelameswar
New Delhi: Friday morning took the capital by shock as for the first time in the history four judges of the supreme court called for a public press conference.
Justice Chelameswar, the second-most senior judge, after the chief justice of India Dipak Mishra, held the press conference at his residence in Tughlaq Lane, New Delhi.
Apart from Justice Chelameswar three others, Justices Madan B Lokur, Ranjan Gogoi and Kurian Joseph addressed the media and released the letter which they had written to Chief Justice of India, a couple of months ago.
According to the top four judges of supreme court conditions is not good inside, we even wrote a letter to the chief justice and even met him but nothing change yet.
Justice Chelameswar clearly said that democracy of our country is in danger, whatever Supreme Court did in the past few months should not have happened. He also said that it’s not a moment of joy that we have to stand up against the chief justice and called a press conference.
Now nation will decide after going through our letter that whether impeachment should be initiated against the Chief Justice or not.
