As it was expected on Monday BJP won the Gujarat Assembly Elections, However, it was neck to neck fight between Congress party and BJP. Out of 182 constituencies, BJP won 99 of them while Congress managed to get 77.

Two of the famous young leaders and favourites among the Gujarat youth, Dalit leader Jignesh Mevni and OBC leader Alpesh Thakor both won from their respective constituencies.

Soon after the results get out there were celebration all across Gujarat as well as in the capital too. BJP supporters rushed towards the party office with sweets and crackers as well.

While on the other hand on Monday Patidar leader Hardik Patel reiterated his doubts over the reliability of (EVMs), saying that behind the narrow margin of winning and losing is due to the hacking of EVMs as they can be hacked easily.

He also said that he would continue his agitation for reservation for the Patidars, on the issues of farmers, including waiving loans, and unemployment of youth, in a few days.

Patel told reporter that “There has been tampering of EVMs in Surat, Rajkot, and Ahmedabad, hence the gap is very less wherever tampering happened,”. He claimed that BJP able to won due to his dirty tricks.

Controversial politician Yogendra Yadav give an advice to the Congress on the issue of EVM tampering.

While Speaking to News18, he said that all the EVM tampering or malfunctioning allegations achieve is bring down the faith of the people in democracy and demoralise the voters.

Former AAP leader and Swaraj Abhiyan co-founder said that “The least the Congress can do is not bring down the faith of people in the electoral process by alleging large scale EVM tampering,”.

However Congress accused BJP of tampering in EVM and even Congress had filed a plea in the Supreme Court, asking it to direct the Election Commission to count and cross verify at least 25 per cent of Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) with the EVM votes polled in the election. Although the SC rejected the petition.

Chief Election Commissioner Achal Kumar Joti said “With VVPATs being used, I assure you there can be no tampering with EVMs.

Well we all hope that any party will not do such dirty tricks for making govt whether it’s BJP,Congress or AAP.

However everyone is still confused whether in Gujarat Elections EVM won or BJP?.
