“I am puzzled about my future in cricket”- Irfan Pathan

Indian left-arm pacer Irfan Pathan is puzzled and express his shock regarding his uncertain future in cricket as he is not only being stripped off from the captaincy of Baroda Ranji team but also kicked out of the team.

Deepak Hooda is the new captain for Baroda Ranji team. Despite scoring 80 runs down in the lowest order he is not being picked up by the selectors and also sacked off from his captaincy.

While speaking to Hindustan Times he said “I am puzzled! This is happening for the last three years. I am trying to find an answer within myself without asking anyone. I am not the kind of guy who will run around to ask what’s wrong,”

Irfan Pathan so far played 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20s for team India.

On his comeback to team India, he said if he didn’t get opportunities at the domestic level then how will be able to display his abilities. He also stated that “However it’s not an end to my main aim of limited over cricket, I will keep playing four-day cricket as it helps you keep motivated and be fit for the shorter version of the game.”
