If I want to eat Beef, I will; Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah continuously attacking UP CM Yogi Adityanath. In his latest tweet, he slammed Yogi by stating “Who are these people to question our food choices? A lot of Hindus eat beef. If I want to eat it, I will. Who are they to object to it? I don’t eat beef only because I don’t like it.”
Siddaramaiah also declared yogi as a supporter of Nathuram Godse and said: “I don’t need to learn Hindutva from Yogi”. On his latest visit to Bengaluru Yogi Adityanath questioned Siddaramaiah, If Siddaramaiah is a Hindu and talks of Hindutva, he shouldn’t allow cow slaughter.”
Responding to this Karnataka CM Siddaramiah hit back at the priest now turned politician who asked him to prove his Hindu credentials. According to TOI Siddaramiah said “A lot of Hindus eat beef. If I want to eat, I will, who are they to tell me not to consume beef. I don’t eat beef only because I don’t like to.
He also advised Yogi to read what Swami Vivekananda said about cow slaughter before preaching anyone.
Home minister R Ramalinga Reddy also joined CM Siddaramiah and stated; “Why ban only cow slaughter? BJP is in power at the Centre and they can bring in legislation banning the slaughter of all types of animals across the country. ”
Yogi Adityanath was in Bengaluru campaigning for the BJP ahead of the state assembly elections in Karnataka.
