India Celebrates Constitution Day

The 26th of November is celebrated in India as Samvidhan Divas or constitution day. On 26th November 1949 constitution of India was present before then president of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
The Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26th January 1950. In approx. 35 months the drafting committee completed the framework and presented in complete Book form.
There were seven members in the drafting committee which was chaired by Dr. Ambedkar. The other members were N Gopalaswamy Ayyangar, Alladi Krishnaswamy Ayyar, Dr. K M Munshi, Syyed Mohammand Saadullah, N Madhava Rau and TT Krishnamachari.
Dr. Ambedkar was the main architect and his condition during the drafting days of the constitution was widely talked and written by many veterans. He alone contributed more than rest of the member if drafting committee.
