India emerges victorious in three test match series

In the Nagpur test, India outplayed Sri Lanka in all departments and seal the second test by the margin
of an innings and 239 runs and take the lead of 1-0 in the 3 match test series.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli continue to be aggressive on Lankan
bowlers and hit a double ton and give India a mammoth total of 610 at the loss of six wickets. Apart from Kohli,there were three centurions from the team. Pujara, Rohit Sharma, and Murli Vijay also take good care of Lankan bowlers and tear them apart all across the ground.

Riding on those tons India builds up a huge score. In response to mammoth total Sri Lankan team collapsed. Lankan fails to show resistance and bowled out at the score of 166. Off-spinner R Ashwin equals the record of Dennis Lillee, in taking fastest 300 test wickets.

Ashwin picks four wickets for 63 runs in his17.3 overs of bowling
spell. Pacers also play a vital role. Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav both took two wickets.

In three-match series, India is leading by 1 match.
