Gujarat Congress Rajya Sabha MP, Ahmed Patel on Wednesday while addressing a gathering slammed back Chief minister Rupani stating that its BJP who had linked with ISIS.
Earlier Vijay Rupani accused Congress senior leader of having links with the terrorist organisation ISIS and asked his resignation.
“If Ahmed Patel was a patron of the hospital from where two suspected ISIS terrorists were arrested then should he be not held responsible,” Rupani had said during a press briefing.
On October 25, the Gujrat anti-terrorism squad (ATS) arrested two ISIS suspected named Kasim Timberwla and Aabed Mirza. One of the suspected Kasim earlier employed with a hospital where Patel is one of the patrons.
Ahmed Patel has also written a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, urging him to order an impartial inquiry in ISIS link row.
Gujarat Assembly poll is scheduled in December.
