Nagpur to witness 75th revolutionary ALL INDIA 1942 WOMEN CONFERENCE

Three day All India Historic Conference on 1942 women convention is to begin on 22^nd October. The Bahujan Community is celebrating the 75th year of the revolutionary ALL INDIA 1942 WOMEN CONFERENCE at Deeksha Bhoomi, Nagpur.

Dr. Manisha Bangar, Vice President of the BAMCEF will be presiding the event and former Rajya Sabha member, and famous cine actor Shaba Azmi will be the chief guest. Rajmata Shubhanginiraje Gaekwad has been invited as the Guest of honor with Manjula Pradeep as a special guest in the event.

The program will begin on 10:00 AM, Sunday with a special inaugural session to remember those prideful women of 3^rd and 4^th decade of previous century who dare to stand against the Savarna privileges of discriminating so-called lower caste women.

The 1942 conference is worth remembering for so many other reasons. BR. Ambedkar himself attended the conference which was presided by charismatic leader late. Sulochonabai Dongre. The historical conference was attended by 25 thousand Bahujan women leader which came from all over the India.

In this conference, many issues of women rights were discussed and raised, including divorce, polygamy and several other to improve the condition of working women.
