Election for the students’ union of Aligarh Muslim University were held on Monday and the result as expected declared today (मंगलवार) early in the morning. Polls were held for the posts of president, vice president, secretary, cabinet and court members.

For the president’s post, it was battle between Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) student Mashkoor Ahmad Usmani, research student Abu Bakr, and BA LLB student Ajay Singh.

For the post of the vice president, म. Com student Faisal Nadeem, म. Tech student Rao Faraz Waris, Master of Finance and Control (MFC) student Vikrant Johari and PhD students Sajad Subhan Rather, Vaseel K and Aijaz Ahmed were in the battleground.

साजद सुभान बल्कि, a History PhD student, won the post after defeating M.Com student Faisal Nadeem, राव फ़राज़ वारिस एम.टेक से, Master of Finance and Control (MFC) student Vikrant Johari and Aijaz Ahmed, पीएचडी की और वाइस बन गए- अध्यक्ष.
