It seems like Delhi will not get the rid out of poisonous air quality any soon. India’s capital is again under the umbrella of dangerous air. Once again air quality has become worst. According to the pollution monitoring agencies, ‘this situation is likely to worsen further over the next three days’.

Delhites facing “severe” or “severe plus” threat. Air quality is
expected to worsen til next week. Central Pollution Control Board recorded Air Quality Index which falls into “severe” category of 360 points in Delhi. The air condition of Ghaziabad has however recorded much worse than capital.

Satellite pictures from NASA confirmed the stubble burning goes on
even within Delhi, while it continues unabated in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

“The wind speed is, however, likely to pick up in next four
days due to which there is a possibility of marginal improvement in the air quality here,” Mahesh Palwat, Director, private weather forecasting agency Skymet, told IANS.
