Terror King Hafiz Saeed Announced To Contest Election

Jamat Ud Dawa Chief and alleged mastermind of Mumbai 26/11 terror attack Hafiz Saeed on Saturday has announced to contest in the upcoming general election of Pakistan in 2018.
Last week he was released by the Lahore High Court which refused to extend his house arrest. Lahore government earlier pleaded to the judicial body to extend his detention for three more months but on November 24 Judicial body set him free.
He was under house arrest since January. Saeed in his first address accused India and the US for conspiring his detention. He said he would contest the election under the banner of Milli Muslim League (MML). He also raised Kashmir issue during the speech.
However, India has expressed its outrage over the Judicial decision. The United States had also condemned the release and called for his immediate re-arrest and prosecution.
During the Mumbai terror attack, 164 people were killed and scores of injuries reported. Death of several policemen was also reported during three days horrific operation.
